Power-Up Gaming
This project was to create a magazine, my favorite hobby growing up being video games, I decided to create a gaming magazine. I used Adobe InDesign to create actual magazine pages with articles I wrote myself, I didn’t include it here because I doesn’t showcase my skills as a designer as well. Using Adobe Photoshop, I designed this cover. Using a free photo and some font adjustments, I placed the article titles on the front cover. The logo I created for the magazine was fun, obviously using the original Nintendo Entertainment System classic controller as a blueprint for the logo with an arrow to symbolize the power-up for the title.

What makes this project unique to me is the fact is incorporates a hobby of mine, to be honest I didn't know what other topic I was knowledgeable in to create self made articles for. So rather than feeling like writing an essay for no reason, I was just creating and answering questions in a topic I love.
